What to do with dry hair

With warmer weather and summer activities, our hair sometimes takes a beating and needs a little more TLC. If you find your hair is drier this time of year, you can do a deep conditioning treatment at home for very little cost with fabulous results.

  • Put your regular conditioner on dry hair.
  • Allow it to sit in your hair for five to ten minutes before stepping into the shower.
  • Once you’re in the shower, shampoo and condition again as usual.

This simple conditioning treatment works well because you’re not wetting your hair first. Applying conditioner before wetting your hair allows the conditioner to penetrate deeper into your hair, or ‘deep condition.’

You’ll have shiny, great looking, healthy hair and look like you just left the salon. Try it – you’ll be a believer!
